Meet our instructors!

Kelly Baum-Sehon
Crochet Connoisseur
Kelly is a former middle-school math teacher now turned full-time crochet designer who has been crocheting for over half his life. Starting with a few scarf patterns, he has now found a love for designing crochet wearables, especially sweaters. He is the first man from Oklahoma (second in the nation) to have earned the Master Certificate of Advanced Stitches and Techniques from the Crochet Guild of America. He currently lives with his husband, Charlie, and their three lovable but ornery cats – Sullivan, Drake, and Samuel. Aside from crochet, Kelly enjoys playing video games, watching YouTube videos, reading about history and mythology, and drinking as much cold brew coffee and red wine as he can.

Veronique Voss
Knitting Aficionado
Veronique is a seasoned knitter and crocheter that enjoys helping people learn. Her patience and personality are unmatched bringing joy and laughter to those who cross her path. She has lived in Europe and has settled down in Okarche, OK with her husband, Fred. They like to travel throughout the summer months in their RV wherever the wind blows them. Veronique pours her heart and soul into her work and has built quite the capsule wardrobe over the years. You can always count on her to sport one of her handmade treasures when you see her in the shop.

Jonathan Fowles
Triple Threat Knitter
Jonathan first learned knitting in 2018 when his wife taught him the basics. He continued his journey when a friend taught him how to do cables, and then yet another friend opened a yarn store. Combined with YouTube videos and just tons of practice, he has developed into a true maestro of knitting in such a short time. His favorite yarn to work with is anything with natural fibers, primarily Merino and other wool variants. One of his most luxurious projects used baby alpaca, which is just sooo soft – though it can get a wee bit pricey. An interesting fact he likes to share is that his wife works with elephants, and she loves animals, which inspired the tiger sweater in his picture – the pattern designer also created the yarn, and portions of sales were donated to tiger conservation; plus it was a fun, challenging project that makes him look “hella fierce”! Jonathan is able to teach basic knitting, fixing mistakes, and continental and English (throwing and flicking methods) styles.
